During 2009 Wunderman London extended its relationship with Nokia since winning the global digital activation brief. We are now responsible for developing digital strategies for new product launches and the management and running of the Nokia shop in the UK. We were also appointed on the Nokia Global B2B digital strategy and development after a three-way competitive pitch.

Nokia wanted to bring a Finnish White Christmas to the UK. This was a huge campaign, supported by strong ATL activity to drive to a web destination. So not only did we have to support the idea, we also had to drive sales, engage users in a competition and push people to the Nokia apps store. Just to add another level of complexity, the client wanted all these elements to have equal weighting.

Supporting integrated media launch of the Free Sat Nav service from Nokia, Wunderman was asked to produce a series of rich media banners including homepage take-overs for Yahoo! and MSN. The work resulted in huge click through and some of the highest interaction measurements Yahoo! and MSN had seen.
