The Challenge
When buying sportswear consumers want to browse as they would in a store: by checking out the full range of what's available before making a selection. What excites them is the product, which they want to touch and try on - something that's near impossible to achieve in a digital e-commerce environment.

The Solution
shop.adidas uses faceted navigation to allow consumers to shop any way they like - by brand, by use or by type of clothing. Once they've seen what they're interested in they can explore any product by zooming in for a closer look, examining it from a variety of different angles or even seeing it in context on a model.

The Result
The e-store has proven a huge success for adidas and is now being rolled out globally. It's already generating incremental income in the UK, USA, France and the Netherlands.
