What Facebook Must Do to Catch Up with Twitter

Last Friday, our very own Social Strategy Director, Matt Redman was featured on Campaign talking about how Facebook can catch up with Twitter on mobile.

With developments such as its TV Ad targeting product which allows brands to target people who are second screening, it’s no surprise that Twitter is leading the way in mobile advertising, generating up to 80% of its revenue from mobile devices alone.

Matt suggests several things Facebook and Twitter can do to continually capitalise on mobile advertising, such as targeting big brand budgets usually reserved for TV, proving return on investment on mobile, and using data to target content effectively.
