Stefanie DiGianvincenzo Helps Champion Women at Cannes

It is with great pleasure that we can reveal our Associate Creative Director, Stefanie DiGianvincenzo, has been selected for a new and unique initiative at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity called See It Be It, which is designed to encourage women in the creative industries and to help propel their careers forward.

The See It Be It initiative will see 12 women have guided access to the jury rooms at the festival, meet VIP speakers and take part in dedicated sessions by industry leaders and the Berlin School of Creative Leadership over the course of three days at Cannes, as well as the chance to attend a mentorship event.

The initiative is supported by SheSays, the fantastic and award-winning organisation that runs free mentorship and events to women in the creative marketing business.

See It Be It has been put together specifically to encourage brilliant and skilled women in the creative industries, to further their careers and to help redress the gender imbalance on the creative floor, as marketers demands for female creative talent is only set to rise. In the meantime, only 3% of creative directors worldwide are female, though more than 80% of purchasing decisions are made by women.

Stefanie has been selected alongside a host of accomplished creative women from agencies across the globe to put together a list of nominees, and the successful group of women will also be provided with a toolkit designed to help them pass on their knowledge and learnings to other women in their own networks.

Matt Batten, our Chief Creative Officer, is delighted that Stefanie has been selected by the Cannes Lions festival and SheSays to take part in this unique initiative.
