Senior Planner – News International

We want a brilliant, ambitious, creative and super-smart strategist with at least 5 years experience. In addition they must live and breathe football: Play, attend your club’s matches and actively play fantasy football.
Our work for The Sun is innovative, fast paced and award winning. It spans social (if you talk to The Sun Football in social media then you’re talking to us), press advertising, digital marketing and CRM. We work on all aspects of the brand, including the digital product and apps, the paper and their football properties. You’ll be working in an established team reporting into the Planning Director and working closely with the Content and Social Director as well as lots of smart people in insight, creative (including our in-house Football journalist) and community management. The applicant must have experience working in contemporary digitally-centred communications accounts, with experience working in the disciplines outlined above. But it is quick thinking intelligence and a creative spark that we will value above all else.
